Josh Greenbaum is a filmmaker originally from upstate NY (Saratoga Springs) currently residing in downstate CA.  He studied social psychology at Cornell and Oxford Universities and film in the graduate program at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.

While still in film school, Greenbaum was awarded the Grand Prize for the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Award and his
short film "The Morning Routine," played on over 21,000 theaters over the next year. That same year, two of his short films premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, he was awarded two Emmy Awards for a documentary he directed in Zambia for PBS, and he won a Golden Popcorn Statue for mtvU's "Best Filmmaker on Campus Award" at the MTV Movie Awards.

Later that year, he partnered with Ivan
Reitman and his Montecito Picture Co. to write and direct a web series based of his short film BORDER PATROL for Comedy Central which was then developed into a television series. The next year, Greenbaum was attached to direct his first feature film THE ART OF COOL for Sony Pictures.

Next, Greenbaum sold a feature pitch to Paramount Pictures called THE MASCOT which he is attached to write and direct. Also that year, Greenbaum co-wrote and directed “RICKY & RAVI (ARE IN BETWEEN JOBS)” for Fox TV Studios and Funny or Die.

Most recently, in 2011, Greenbaum co-wrote, created and directed a web series called “HOMELAND INSECURITY” that was then sold to CBS (in collaboration with Sony TV Studios).  He is in mid-production on a feature length documentary exploring the highly competitive and entertaining world of international competitive kids golf (kids 6 and under).

He co-wrote and directed a short film for the Clinton Foundation starring, BEN STILLER, MATT DAMON, KRISTEN WIIG, KEVIN SPACEY, SEAN PENN, MARY STEENBURGEN, JACK BLACK, TED DANSON, and PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON.  The film played to a standing ovation at the Hollywood Bowl.

Lastly, he just recently sold his second network TV show to the CW and is currently working with his writing partner on the pilot script...

When not making films, he enjoys the sound of genuine laughter, eating various cheeses,  being creative with friends, and attending any and all theme parties with a mustache on.
